Togrul Huseynli, born in Baku, ranks amongst the rising stars of Azerbaijani classical music. Having begun his performing career at the age of two years. Togrul´s talent shone forth and his dedication to the world of classical piano is undeniable.
He graduate of the Bulbul Music School and the Baku Musical Academy.
In 2005, he won the bronze medal in the International Piano Competition in Tbilisi, Georgia.
At the age of 15 years his name was added to the „Golden Book of Young Talents“ in Azerbaijan.
In 2009 he was a laureate of the I Gabala International Piano Competition in Azerbaijan.
Also in this year he took part in the International Music Festival in Minsk, by Y.Bashmet, and played concerts at the same stage with such musicians like Y.Bahmet, V.Lobanov, V.Tertiakov e.t.c
In Germany, he was nominated for the prestigios Deutscher Pianistenpreis (German Piano Award) in 2012.
In 2014, he won the 3.Prize in the International Piano Competition „Spanish Composers“ in Madrid, Spain.
In April 2015, Togrul won the 1. Prize in the International Piano Competition Sumy, Ukraine.
In November 2016, he won the 2. Prize in the International Piano Competition „Cidade de Ferrol“, in one of the biggest piano competition of Spain. He won also Stainway Piano Price in Düsseldorf in Mai 2016.
In July 2017 he also won 2. Prize in the International Piano Competition Granada, Spain.
He graduated his Bachelor and Master degree at the Hochschule für Musik Cologne by Prof. Andreas Frölich with best final grade and now Togrul is studying for Post Graduate Master degree at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria by Prof. Pavel Gililov.
Currently Togrul Huseynli also teaching at the Cologne University of Music.He has performed in major venues in Azerbaijan, Russia, Belorussia, Georgia, China, Germany, also with famous Orchestras like Jerusalim Symphony Orchestra, Ranaana Simfonietta, Orquesto Simfonica de Galicia e.t.c.
